Lifestyle Options
The Lifestyle Options programme assists adults over the age of 18 with a developmental handicap craft a range of supports that meet their individual personal care, therapeutic, behavioural, recreational and social needs. The focus of this service is to address quality of life issues, creating a lifestyle plan that ensures that each and every day has purpose and meaning.
What are Lifestyle Options?
Lifestyle Options is available Monday to Friday 8:30 to 3:30 and is divided into two categories, meeting the need of two distinct service groups.
Seniors Supports
This service is available to individuals over the age of 55 who no longer are pursuing a vocational or employment goal. The activities address issues related to aging and re-configuring individual lifestyles. Services are offered in-house and are integrated with other community based supports.
Quality of Life Supports
The focus of the supports offered address the physical care, therapeutic, behavioural, recreational and social requirements to ensure a comfortable and meaningful interactive day.
How does it work?
A unique schedule of activities is developed with each individual based on their interest, abilities and needs. Schedules can incorporate one or more locations as well as activities provided by other agencies, community groups or supports.
